On March 30, the vocal quartet The Manhattan Transfer released their latest album entitled The Junction. For three days in April of 2017 the Transfer was at the Sonic Arts Center recording vocal parts for The Junction with SAC director Paul Kozel engineering. Additionally, Paul recorded percussionist Luisito Quintero for the album as well. Winy Taveras provided technical assistance for these recording sessions. On April 5, 2018 The Junction reached #1on the iTunes Jazz Chart! The album is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and Google Play. Congratulations to The Manhattan Transfer and to Paul and Winy on this exciting news! The Manhattan Transfer’s PBS special show with Take 6 will be airing nationwide starting April 26 and will feature songs from the new album.
