On June 20, the film Cinema and Sanctuary had its premiere at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center. The film, by CCNY Professor Dave Davidson, charts the tumultuous and exuberant history of The Institute of Film Techniques at the City College of New York – the first documentary film school in America that was under the leadership of DADAist and pioneering experimental filmmaker Hans Richter.
The audio post-production team was lead by staff members Paul Kozel and Chris Woll, who also mixed the film. SAC fourth year students were the sound designers and composers for the project. Dialog editing was done by Paul Kozel and Santiago Celi provided the dialog restoration. Congratulations to the team for delivering a throughly professional sound track!
