
Andy “C-Lite” Mineo – Graduate
Andy Mineo is a rapper, singer, producer, songwriter, and arranger who completed his first-full album entitled Snapshots at the Sonic Arts Center just before graduation in June 2011. He has had the opportunity to work on two Grammy nominated artists’ albums: Lecrae of Reach Records and Flame of Clear Sight Music. Andy’s contribution for these albums was done at The Sonic Arts Center. Here’s a video with Andy’s Music.

Lance Holloway – Graduate
Lance is a 2016 graduate of the program and is now a busy freelance sound reinforcement engineer in New York City. He works primarily with AVS Production Group and KM Productions. During the past year he has worked on various shows including Pitbull’s US tour with Prince Royce, will.i.am and Wyclef Jean in Central Park, Demi Lovato and Lady GaGa at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and Victor Manuelle at Radio City Music Hall.

Dave Tirolo – Graduate
Dave is a 2006 graduate, member of the IATSE Local 52 and is working in New York and around the country as a sound mixer and playback mixer for television and film location recordings. He has worked on commercials, episodic and reality TV, independent films, and major features. As a Pro Tools Playback Mixer, he has worked on Gotham, The Kick, Girls, Glee, Broad City, Power, The Wolf of Wall Street and Marvel’s Netflix show Luke Cage. As a sound mixer he has worked on commercials for Apple, Microsoft, Verizon, AT&T, HBO, NY Lottery, and ESPN to name a few. John Rezin – Graduate
John is a 2002 graduate of the program, is a busy mixing/tracking engineer and vocal producer in Los Angeles for artist including John Legend, Avril Lavigne, Maroon 5, Krewella, Ne-Yo, Santana, One Direction, and Girl’s Generation. John has been the main mixer for producer/songwriter Toby Gad who has written #1 hits for Beyonce – “If I Were A Boy”, Fergie – “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, and many more. John has worked on vocal production with American Idol talent for the last seven years as well as numerous Disney movies, Disney Channel shows, and the X-Factor.

Evan Manners – Graduate
Evan is a busy music recording engineer and location audio sound mixer for television. As a music recording engineer Evan has worked with Wynton Marsalis on the score for the Ken Burns movie Jackie Robinson and the Wynton Marsalis, Willie Nelson, and Norah Jones tribute to Ray Charles called Here We Go Again. In addition, Evan has worked with recording artists Alicia Keys, J. Cole, Ariana Grande, Blake, Shelton, Eric Clapton, Dr. John, and Carlos Santana. As a location audio sound mixer Evan has been traveling the world working on television shows for the Travel Channel, History Channel, HGTV, Food Network, Cooking Channel, CBS, BBC, MTV, and BET. Currently Evan is working on the HGTV series House Hunters International. Above is a recent picture of Evan on location in Peniche, Portugal for a House Hunters International episode. Guy Rosmarin – Graduate
Guy has worked as an audio engineer for Grey Advertising at their Townhouse Studios for the last nine years. Grey Advertising is one of the largest and most prestigious advertising agencies in the world today. Townhouse Studios provide production and post-production services for the Grey New York office. The facility consists of four Pro Tools suites, ten video editing suites, graphic suites, and a dub (audio mixing) room. Guy works out of one of the Pro Tools rooms and is involved with recording voice overs, editing, mixing (in stereo and surround sound), and creating sound design for TV, radio, and web commercials. Over the years Guy has worked on hundreds of commercials including E-trade Baby, the NFL, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Papa John’s, Canon, Volvo, Pantene, Downy, Gillette, Tums, TJ Maxx, and Cover Girl. Several of these commercials appeared on various Super Bowl broadcasts and have won the advertising equivalent of an Oscar called the Clio Awards. In addition to his commercial work, Guy also has a extensive experience in audio preservation, restoration, and mastering and has worked with major clients including The Metropolitan Opera, Coca Cola, Harvard University, and the Library of Congress.

Eric Bell – Graduate
Eric, a 2008 graduate of the Sonic Arts Center, is a three-time Emmy Award winner and an accomplished drummer. After graduation Eric spent several years as a video editor working at various television networks including SNY, YES, MSNBC, ABC, NBC Sports and A&E. In 2010 and 2011, he won Emmy Awards for shows he edited at SNY under the category of “Outstanding Sports Coverage” and “Outstanding Sports Programming.” In 2014, Eric won a National Emmy Award under the category of “Outstanding New Approaches” for producing NBC Sports’ web coverage of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. In the Spring of 2015, Eric became a Video Producer for Sony Music’s Arcade Creative Group an add agency formed by Sony Music. In this new role, Eric produces video content for record labels and artists such as Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Jeff Buckley, Miles Davis, Willie Nelson and many more. As a drummer, Eric has performed with Katharine McPhee (American Idol, Smash, Scorpion) and at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony on NBC.

Ian Reilly – Graduate
Ian, 2012 graduate of the program, is a Digital Media Assistant for the New York Philharmonic. Ian assists Audio Director Lawrence Rock in the recording, editing, mixing, and production for the orchestra’s radio, television, and commercial releases. Ian has worked on PBS broadcasts including Audra McDonald in Concert and A Philharmonic Gala with Yo-Yo Ma on Live from Lincoln Center, Steven Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd featuring Emma Thompson, and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel. In addition, Ian has assisted on the New York Philharmonic with Alan Gilbert iTunes releases and the The New York Philharmonic This Week radio releases.

Cherrelle Crews – Graduate
Cherrelle interned at Daddy’s House Recording Studios during the 2013 Spring semester. Daddy’s House is part of Bad Boy Entertainment owned by Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs. As a result of her internship she was asked to create and record the music track for “Jack Thriller Interlude” (track 24) on Wyclef Jean’s mix tape April Showers released this past Spring. Congratulations to Cherrelle for her first professional credit.

Gary O’Keefe – Graduate
Gary is a graduate of the music and audio technology program and is a musician, songwriter/arranger, producer, and audio engineer. During his internship for Billboard Magazine’s video production department, Gary tracked and mixed live performances of artists like The Drums, Twin Shadow, Bun B, and the Goo Goo Dolls. He also provided the broadcast mix for Bruno Mars’ live television performance from New York’s Z100 Jingle Ball 2010, at Madison Square Garden which aired on Fuse TV. In addition, Gary also mixed three songs from a recent Keri Hilson live performance (video here) on the Billboard Tastemakers series. Gary is presently interning at Mophonics Studios with Josh Brochausen where he recently co-wrote the music with Josh for a nationally broadcasted commercial by Dodge for their RAM truck line (video here). Gary also plays in a band of his own called Vision Through Sound, and produced and recorded their most recent album These Things Happen at the Sonic Arts Center.

Roy Coopervasser- Graduate
Roy is a film, TV and video game composer, a producer, songwriter, and an engineer living in Israel. He is the co-founder of 7 Grain Music – an international music production boutique specializing in music for film, TV and video games. As a composer and a post-production engineer; he has worked on projects featured on NBC, Discovery Channel, BET and PBS. He recently received the Best Original Music award at the 2010 Charlotte Film Festival for his score for the feature film Failing Better Now (video here). As a producer/engineer Roy has collaborated with acclaimed musicians Maurice Brown (trumpet: Aretha Franklin, Talib Kweli, Roy Hargrove), Becca Stevens (lead vocalist: Travis Sullivan’s Bjorkestra, Becca Stevens band), Nate Jones (Bass: Trey Songz, Lyfe Jennings, Wyclef Jean) and Chris Rob (Keyboards: John Legend, Kanye West). Roy’s Indie-Pop project, Unemployed in Greenland, released its first full-length album, entitled Perfect Confusion, in the summer of 2011 under Frankfurt-based label Essay Recordings. Roy graduated with honors in the Music and Audio Technology program at the Sonic Arts Center in 2005 and was an adjunct lecturer for the Center from 2008 – 2010.

Ben Trokan – Graduate
Ben is a founding member, singer, songwriter, arranger, and keyboardist for the band Robbers on High Street. The Robbers released their first album for New Line Records in 2005 entitled Tree City, produced by Peter Katis (The National, Interpol). After touring extensively with Hot Hot Heat, Cake, Fountains of Wayne, and Brendan Benson in support of Tree City, the Robbers went to Los Angeles in 2006 to record their second effort for New Line called Grand Animals, produced by Daniele Luppi (John Legend, Gnarls Barkely, Danger Mouse). They have subsequently released an EP for New Line entitled The Fatalist and Friends as well as a recent third album entitled Hey There Golden Hair for Engine Room Recordings produced by Ben. Movie Placements of the Robber’s music includes: “Love Underground” in Wedding Crashers, “Debonair” in Fast Food Nation, “Big Winter” in Just Friends, “The Fatalist” in Georgia Rule, and “Season’s Greetings” in Four Christmases. Television placements include: “Bring on the Terror” in The Ghost Whisperer, “Love Underground” in The O.C, “Japanese Girls” in Californication and Six Feet Under, and “You Don’t Stand a Chance” in One Tree Hill andJapanese Girls.

Pat Noth – Graduate
Pat is a busy composer/arranger, engineer, sound designer, and free style rapper. He has received an Emmy nomination for his work on the Pale Force cartoon (video here) featuring the voices of comedian Jim Gaffigan and late night host Conan O’Brien. His television work includes music and sound for NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien, multiple Comedy Central specials and The Golden Trailer Awards. Other credits include underscore and sound design work on several Indie films and many internet based productions. His most notable music production credit is working as an arranger and engineer with music legend Richie Havens (pictured here with Pat) at the Center on his upcoming children’s album. Patrick is a frequent free-style rapper in various venues in New York City and can be currently seen performing on The Ride.

Unne Liljeblad – Graduate
Unne is a mix engineer, producer, and song writer now living and working in Sweden. Unne’s clientele is primarily emerging artists from around the globe in various styles encompassing pop, rock, jazz, alternative, R&B, hip-hop, and beyond. Unne also is a partner in Permanent Ink Productions together with fellow SAC alumni Paul Kim. Through their close connection with the Swedish firm Edithouse Film Works, they have written and produce songs for a number of Volvo and Saab advertisements (Saab video here) that have included the talents of other SAC alumni, including James Dower (writing & vocals) Yony Arad (writing) and Ben Trokan (vocals).

Jeff Reeves – Graduate
Jeff is a multi-instrumentalist, composer/arranger, sound designer, and engineer. Since 2009 Jeff has been working as a mastering engineer and recently started Jeff Reeves Mastering located at the world renowned mastering studio Masterdisk here in New York City. Jeff’s mastering work has been primarily with Indie label artists from around the globe working in a wide range of musical genres. Jeff lent his mastering skills to some of the material from the feature film The Human Experience. Jeff has also been involved in the film business for the last ten years and is the owner of Abby Singer, Inc. The company provides video support and technical services for on-location film production. Catering primarily to commercial and music videos, Abby Singer Inc. has a long list of clients including MTV, Macys, and ESPN and has been contracted for many music videos for artists such as Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Usher and Kings of Leon.

Lew Savage – Graduate
Lew designed, built, and opened Savage Sounds in West Hempstead, Long Island soon after graduating from the program in 2008. Lew has put together a team of engineers that have worked on projects ranging from local emerging artists to Def Jam Records recording artist Unladylike. Lew’s credits include engineering on 50 Cent’s “The Invitation” (video here) from the album Before I Self Destruct on Interscope Records and the rap duo Methodman & Redman’s “Father’s Day” from the album Blackout 2 for Def Jam Records. In addition, Lew recently provided a remix for the Latin artist JenCarlos.

David Varga – Graduate
David, a 1998 graduate of the program, is a busy television and film composer as well as a video editor. Dave’s composition work includes feature and documentary films, television theme songs and soundtracks, commercials, video games, and theatrical performances. His work has been heard at many film festivals around the country, TLC, the Discovery Channel, the Sundance Channel, MSNBC, and PBS. His music for commercials includes spots for Buffalo Wild Wings and DKNY and his work for television includes the theme and underscore for Future Earth – 100 Heartbeats with Jeff Corwin for MSNBC and the theme music for Dateline Saturday on NBC.
